Cadence teams with Google, Microsoft, Amazon, on cloud-based EDA

Cadence Design Systems Inc. (San Jose, Calif.) has launched a portfolio of EDA tools that operate in the cloud and can provide high-levels of peak performance.
Cadence said it is working with Microsoft, Google and Amazon Web Services to implement these cloud-based design environments.
The Cloud portfolio consists of Cadence- and customer-managed environments to provide scalable resources and to reduce some tasks in EDA from weeks to minutes. At the same time Cadence has introduced Palladium Cloud solution, a cloud-based emulation solution that easily addresses peak needs of existing Palladium customers.
